SmartChat
Evangelyze Communications’ (EC) SmartChat provides the ability for
organizations to extend the power of Microsoft Office Communications
Server to enable presence, Instant Messaging, Chat, Streaming
Audio/Video, and application intelligence and integration to any
user through any operating system.

Presence-aware
SmartChat uses the existing OCS presence engine to
automatically indicate if agents are available for a chat
session. If a customer accesses the system outside of
service hours the site automatically updates to send an
e-mail or perform other actions.
Seamless Integration
SmartChat operates within in any internet, extranet, or
intranet environment and has been tested with Internet
Explorer 6, 7, and 8; Firefox 2 and 3; and Safari 3.
SmartChat requires no additional software installation for
either the customer or the agent.

Application Intelligence
SmartChat automatically presents the customer’s contact data
and browsing history to the agent as the chat session is
established so they are instantly aware of who they are
communicating with and what the customer is likely to ask
about. Additionally, custom data from external applications
such as CRM, inventory, order tracking, and financial
systems can be displayed to the agent or automatically
communicated to the client.

server licensing and agent-based
licensing. Additional features
outside of the base server
license are priced separately.
