SmartSearch for OCS

smartsearchmail_tn Evangelyze Communications’ (EC) SmartSearch for OCS provides organizations with a simple tool to search for and retrieve messages archived by OCS. SmartSearch for OCS is accessible via a web browser or directly from Communicator, allowing you to deploy it as a centralized solution for compliance/litigation or as an IM search tool for end users. Integrated security ensures that only the right people have access to search the archive, preventing unauthorized users from accessing confidential or other types of sensitive information.

Conference, Data, and Voice Reporting
In addition to instant messages, SmartSeach for OCS can provide records of Communicator VoIP and PSTN calls, peer-to-peer audio/video calls, web conferences (Live Meetings), audio/video conferences, and file transfers.


SmartSearch Results

Easy to Use

smartsearchconvo SmartSearch for OCS is built with an intuitive interface to allow non-technical users, such as Human Resources or legal staff, to access archived information. Keywords are auto- matically highlighted to provide quick content review, and conversations can be exported to Microsoft Word or Mi- crosoft Excel or saved as PDF files for legal discovery or other documentation requirements.

SmartConference

Evangelyze Communications SmartConference is a solution that provides web-based scheduling for on-premise Live Meetings and Communicator Conference Calls with Microsoft Office Communications Server, providing the following features:

  • Schedule Microsoft Office Communications Server Live Meeting conferences.
  • Schedule Microsoft Office Communications Server Communicator Conference Calls.
  • Synchronizes schedule and calendar with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office Outlook.
  • Supports Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8; Firefox 2 and 3; Safari 3; Opera 9; and Google Chrome.

SmartChat

Evangelyze Communications’ (EC) SmartChat solution allows organizations to leverage their investment in Office Communications Server 2007 to provide a real-time web-based chat solution for external and/or internal customers. Powered by rich presence, SmartChat allows for multiple routing options for complete flexibility, including rules such as :

  • Group membership
  • Hierarchical escalation
  • User properties
  • Location/Time of day
  • Web site context
  • Contact list membership
  • Round robin
  • Shifts or queue duration
  • Bot escalation
  • Custom business rules


Presence-aware
SmartChat uses the existing OCS presence engine to automatically indicate if agents are available for a chat session. If a customer accesses the system outside of service hours the site automatically updates to send an e-mail or perform other actions.

Seamless Integration
SmartChat operates within in any internet, extranet, or intranet environment and has been tested with Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8; Firefox 2 and 3; and Safari 3. SmartChat requires no additional software installation for either the customer or the agent.



Application Intelligence
SmartChat automatically presents the customer’s contact data and browsing history to the agent as the chat session is established so they are instantly aware of who they are communicating with and what the customer is likely to ask about. Additionally, custom data from external applications such as CRM, inventory, order tracking, and financial systems can be displayed to the agent or automatically communicated to the client.

SmartVoIP

SmartVoIP enables VoIP connectivity between Microsoft Response Point and the Microsoft Unified Communications platform through Microsoft Office Communications Server, providing the following usage scenarios:

  • Enables a highly scalable direct extension dialing solution between Microsoft Office Communicator and Communicator devices to Microsoft Response Point IP Phone devices using VoIP, eliminating long-distance charges for branch and remote offices.
  • Provides Unified Messaging for Microsoft Office Communications Server and Response Point users, including Voice Mail Messages and Missed Call Notifications.
  • Provides Microsoft Response Point systems with the ability to use T1/E1/FXO/FXS and the support to enable SIP Trunking, Fax, PSTN, and Office Communications Server connectivity, all using the Quintum AF, AX, and DX series gateway devices.
  • Evangelyze Communications is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and a Quintum Certified Partner offering this solution utilizing Quintum Tenor VoIP Switches and Gateways with their unique “any to any” switch design and full interoperability with Microsoft’s Office Communication Server, Exchange Server and Response Point products.

Microsoft Unified Communications Demo Kits

Evangelyze Communications has developed a series of Microsoft Unified Communications demonstration kits to be used for events, training sessions, and for general demo purposes. These kits run in a virtual environment using Microsoft Virtual Server and include the following configured virtual server environments:

  • Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 with Service Pack 1
  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
  • Microsoft Office Communicator 2007
  • Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007

This demo kit can be used to demonstrate the features of Microsoft's Unified Communications platform integrated with the Microsoft Office System and showcases UC Voice and Unified Messaging functionality with sample users. The kits are sold in individual laptop versions, separate Virtual PC image packages, and a voice package that includes a LG|Nortel IP Phone and an AudioCodes gateway device.


SIP Trunking for Microsoft Unified Communications with Windows Hyper-V

As a joint research and testing solution between New Global Telecom (NGT) and Evangelyze Communications (EC), we have successfully implemented an internal, production-ready Microsoft Unified Communications environment running on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with Hyper-V. Though Hyper-V is not supported by Microsoft in production nor is it supported by Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, our testing is complete with full service functionality with voice and unified messaging features.

Evangelyze Communications used Dell PowerEdge servers for this test inclusive of the following configuration:
